I can hardly believe that tomorrow will be my last day at Valley Forge Kinder House. It has been such an honor and privilege to be a part of such a wonderful “family.” From the very first day I have felt so much warmth, caring and support from the Kellys (Susan, Ed and Molly). This attitude has filtered down to everyone in the school….from the Administration to the teachers and assistants, to the parents and to the children. VFKH has been “home” to me for the past four years.
I have been blessed with two wonderful assistants in my stay here: Irene Zulkowski and Angel Diffendal. These amazing women have accepted me from the start. We have laughed together, cried together, learned together and worked together. I am so appreciative of each one of them and they will always hold a special place in my heart.
VFKH is also blessed with the greatest parents! I have never seen so many people that volunteer their help so willingly. My class has been so fortunate to have had such giving and caring room mothers. Laura Reed, Sabine Polak, Heather Peacock and Kana Grogan have always “come through” for us and have always been willing to help. I am very thankful for them.
And….of course, the children. I love them so much and and am wondering what I will do without these little ones around me. I know they will all be fine without me, but will I be fine without them? I will try. Thank you so much for entrusting me with them.
As for me, I will be assisting my son, Tim with his business (Timtracks.com). I am looking forward to working with him. I will be back to visit and already plan to make a few surprise visits at the VFKH events.
Thank you all so very much.
Sincerely,
Cathy Waurick
