Our children have been learning the history of Thanksgiving, with many details of how this special holiday came to be. They have also been preparing for our own big luncheon with their families, just like the Pilgrims and Indians did so long ago, by preparing food and special giving gifts to share.
The children have been talking about how some families are less fortunate than themselves, and will be preparing and delivering a special food basket to a family in need. We want to thank everyone for donating food for this special gift. I hope all of you get the change to join us for our luncheon day and have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving Day holiday as well.
