The Elementary Class had a wonderful Founding Father’s Feast on Thursday. The fifth years have been studying the Revolutionary War and the Founding Fathers the past few weeks. They researched the foods that were available during Colonial America, and then found recipes that included those foods. The five-course meal including baked salmon, sweet potato casserole, pumpkin bread, wild rice and asparagus soup, and wild berry compote. Some of the students and teachers played the role of a Founding Father and mentioned a few things from their life. It was a fun event for all and the food was quite delicious!
