Halloween has finally arrived at VFKH. The children have been looking forward to this special day for weeks. A few of the elementary students came to help with their fundraiser for the bake sale and toy sale and the all the proceeds went to those affected by the hurricanes and help buy supplies for their class pet Larry-a bearded dragon. The children paraded like real pros in their fantastic costumes and sang a song for their guests. Then the games began: pin the nose on the pumpkin, spooky musical chairs, Halloween twister and the witches brew snack. Our grand event ended with our father scarecrow dress up race and Scarecrow says games until the children reached the pumpkin patch to retrieve their pumpkin to take home. I want to thank all of our wonderful volunteer parents for making this event such a fantastic day for the children.
