Happy St. Patrick’s Day! On Tuesday, Mrs. Paseltiner performed traditional Irish step dances for the Phoenixville school, including the traditional St. Patrick’s Day dance. Mrs. Paseltiner talked about her teachers, how long she had been dancing, and the dresses women wear for Irish step dancing. She performed with both the soft and hard shoes and talked about the differences between each. She even invited the elementary class to join her for one of the dances, because she has been teaching the class the basic step in P.E. It was a fun experience for everyone! Thank you for sharing Irish step dancing with us, Mrs. Paseltiner!
