After the devastation in Japan Mrs. Brennan, one of our assistant teachers, informed us of a way for the VFKH students to help the children of Japan. OshKosh B’gosh was collecting paper cranes made by local children and in turn donating clothing to Japan. Cranes are a symbol of health and well wishes in Japan. Because of the overwhelming support that this movement received, OshKosh went beyond their initial donation promise and sent $1.5million worth of merchandise to Japan. We are so proud to have been a part of relief efforts. This truly brings home the lesson to the VFKH students that everyone, no matter how old or young, can make a difference!
