The children have been anxiously waiting for our class pets to arrive. They are finally here and the children learned a lot about guinea pigs. One is named Fluffy, who has some long white hair on its neck with caramel on her head and behind. T
he other is Sweet Pea and has tri-colors with black, caramel and white fur. The children are fully aware that right now the guinea pigs are rather young and somewhat scared but in time they will become familiar to the children and be more playful. The children are learning how to care for their class pets and hopefully they will share more interesting stories with you throughout the year.
