You may wonder, do the Elementary students have snack? We do! The Elementary students bring a snack from home in their lunchbox and sit at the snack table at some point during the morning and eat it. Some children choose to have snack and some children do not.
I would like to remind the Elementary parents and students that their snack should be healthy, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, or protein, such as cheese. What should not be packed are sweet snacks or salty, fatty snacks, such as potato chips. Children feel better and are able to focus better when they have eaten a healthy snack. Also, children should make sure they eat a healthy, filling breakfast before coming to school.
