We couldn’t be more thankful for the wonderful snacks all of our parents contribute to our class each day. The child who brings in the snack is always excited to prepare the snack table and to be the first to invite a friend to share the yummy food! Suggestions for healthy snacks were mentioned in the September newsletter: fruit slices, veggies and dip, salsa and tortilla chips, etc. We avoid sugary snacks such as cupcakes, donuts and cookies and other “junk” foods. We truly want to model proper eating habits to our children and encourage them to try new foods and make healthy choices. Thank you again so much for all you do!
