We celebrated Diwali with the students and our special guests. The children had so much fun trying on traditional clothes, sharing a special story, making sand colored pictures outdoors and tasting special treats. The children were given a special treat to take home and a picture to color. Diwali is a day for celebrating goodness over evilness. We want to especially thank all of our mothers who came to celebrate this day with the students. A big thank you goes out to Mrs. Lanka, Mrs. Balasubramanian, Mrs. Patel and Mrs. Alexander.
