Mrs. Andy Serkes graciously surprised the elementary class by bringing in the baby chicks her son is raising at their house! Ben enjoyed showing the children how to hold and pet the chicks, and told the story of their hatching and growth. The baby Rhode Island Reds spent the day in the elementary classroom. The primary class visited in small groups, and everyone enjoyed petting and holding the beautiful babies!
