In the case of school closing (snow, emergencies, etc) parents will be notified by VFKH through automated calls. The phone numbers (up to 3) provided on the Automated Alert Form will be used in these instances. In addition to this, parents can check the School Life section of the webpage for posts regarding school closing.
Whether school is cancelled prior to the start of the school day or during the course of the school day the same methods will be utilized. At the time of the alerts the school will inform parents as to whether VFKH is able to provide care for students enrolled in the Kinder Kammer program.
